Virtual Tours/3D Floor Plans
- Interact more meaningfully with customers: A virtual tour allows visitors to explore your business from anywhere. Whether on their computer, tablet, or smartphone, they can access the entire location and focus on the offerings and what interests them at their own pace. You can create a Highlight Virtual Tour that focuses on the areas that you want the customer to see and the areas or products you want to promote.
- Increase engagement: When customers like what they see in a virtual tour or see something that piques their interest, they are more likely to visit in person. The more you can get the customer familiar with the location surroundings and layout, the higher the probability will be that they will visit in person.
- Save time, effort, and money: Virtual Tour is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Instead of businesses missing customers after store hours, they can experience virtual foot traffic by remaining open in a virtual tour. This means that companies do not have to stay open for long hours and cater to customers who may just want to walk around and browse without making a purchase.
- Captivate customers: While having plain text and still images are fine, offering a tour keeps viewers engaged on your website for longer periods.
- Strengthen online presence: A virtual tour can boost your online brand while attracting customers to your website over the competition.
- Embed it on your website: Make a VR tour part of your Marketing Portfolio on your website. When customers come to your website, feature the virtual tour where they can easily find it. Allow it to be a tool to tell your story about your establishment or business.
- Share with clients: If your business is getting inquiries about your establishment that can be answered in the virtual tour, offer to send clients the tour to answer some of their questions.
- Post on social media: If the virtual tour is new and you want it to gain some attention, post it to your company’s social networks. Consider which platform your customers use the most and make sure they can easily find it with relevant hashtags and key information.
- Real Estate (Commercial & Residential)
Recently Virtual tours have been a common feature in real estate listings. Buyers and Renters want as much information as possible about homes or business facilities they are viewing online, so having a high-quality virtual tour can make them stand out from other properties on the market. Over 90% of the buyers or renters research on the internet before reaching out to an agent. Creating a virtual tour of a house, apartment, or other property makes it easy for future buyers or potential tenants to see the space in-depth before visiting in person. Our VR Tours come with options to provide the user with the ability to measure room sizes and property features. Checking out details before visiting helps buyers or potential renters feel comfortable that they have found the perfect home or business location.
- Business Marketing (Small & Large)
- Retail
Store owners can make the most of a 3D virtual tour to show visitors and customers the store’s layout and what type of products they may find once they visit. People shopping at a mall, or a large department store can use these tours to find the specific section or shop they are looking for.
For large shopping centers, a virtual tour makes it easy for customers to find the store they need once they visit the location, which can be especially helpful if there is a big parking lot. - Hospitality
Vacation rentals, hotel booking, and hospitality niches have many uses for virtual tours. For example, when people try to visualize their vacation destination, virtual tours assist the final decision to book a trip.
Additionally, providing online viewers with an immersive view of the property, amenities, and location can increase booking revenue.
Bed and breakfasts, hotels, cruise ships, and resorts can all show future travelers what their location offers. The hospitality industries did experience a significant increase in virtual tour visits since early 2020. - Restaurants
Restaurant owners can show potential customers what to expect before making their next reservation. Potential customers appreciate a virtual tour because it lets them see the atmosphere, layout, and general vibe, so they know what kind of dining experience they are going to have.
Plus, restaurant owners can also include information tags within the Virtual Tour that provide the user with highlighted information and promotions. - Automotive
Dealerships are now providing their customers with the ability to see a 3D tour of a car online. This type of tour is emerging in the automotive industry. Some car dealerships are not only uploading virtual tours of the exterior and interior of all their vehicles but also of what the dealership has to offer, like service centers and waiting areas.
Having a virtual tour of various vehicles can be the difference between a potential customer visiting one car lot versus a competing lot in the same area. - Healthcare
When a family considers placing an elderly relative in a retirement home, a virtual tour can show them what the rooms and other parts of the facility look like before they visit.
In this case, the family wants the absolute best for their loved one, so a tour can be used to see if it has a pool, a gym, a hair salon, and more.
The same can be said for doctor’s or dentist’s offices, like checking a virtual tour of a pediatrician's office ahead of time. Does it have a kid-friendly waiting room? Are the patient rooms clean? These are the types of questions a virtual tour can answer.

- Inspections (Regulatory, Engineering & Insurance Documentation)
- Regulatory Agencies
In some instances, regulatory inspections & compliance documentation can be achieved using Virtual Tours. This saves time and money and eliminates the need for travel for some agencies. Virtual tours are a great way to document the current conditions of a workspace or business operation area. It also can be a tool to verify closures of known compliance issues through the VR Tour documentation process. - Engineering
The engineering sector encompasses a variety of businesses. Whether it is home builders, construction, or architecture, projects within these industries tend to be fast paced with minimal room for error.
It is challenging for engineers to keep track of all changes on site, but virtual tours can document site and building changes in detail with real-time scans to complete projects faster and more efficiently. - Insurance Companies/Agencies
The insurance industry has benefited from the use of Virtual Tours. They use it to document current conditions of a property or facilities prior to issuing a policy. IT also can help streamline the recovery process after a significant event or insurance claim by providing critical details to contractors for quoting, estimating and planning purposes. This can be done without contractors ever taking a step on the property. Having contractors have access to a VR tour 24 hours a day, 7 days a week can improve the lead time to complete a recovery job and save time and money.

- Events/Entertainment (Concerts, Weddings, Special Events and Festivals)
Concert, Wedding and Special Event Venues are utilizing VR tours to provide guests with a pre-look of the facility features, environment and special offerings. VR tours are becoming a common component of a Venues’ Marketing portfolio and are used as a tool to convey the ambiance of the location. Sales Strategy often includes having VR tours available on their Website and Social media sites.

Testimonials
The team at Drone Business Advantage had the idea to add a virtual tour to my website. I also had a vision of what the video tour should convey to the viewer. Jim, Frank, and I worked on several different iterations until we produced a great representation of my space. They were a pleasure to work with and continued tweaking the footage until we all agreed it was perfect.
I highly recommend Drone Business Advantage to both small and large companies looking to expand their website to promote location and or product and services. Jim and Frank sold me on the idea of adding a Virtual Tour to my website, which I had been looking to improve for awhile but never found the time. With little effort on my end they delivered an end product that not only met but exceeded my expectations. They are true professionals and a pleasure to work with. By far one of the best experiences, I have had working with an outside vendor.
